Who should join the reseller program?
ISPs that wish to provide customized spam filtering for their larger customers, or who may wish to develop sophisticated per-user and per-domain capabilities using multiple rule bases.
Consultants who wish to deploy Message Sniffer with their messaging solutions.
Developers and OEMs who wish to include the Message Sniffer engine in their content filtering software and hardware solutions.
Developers who wish to use the Message Sniffer pattern matching engine for specialized applications with customized rule bases.
Software resellers who wish to bundle Message Sniffer with other software solutions.

Program Types
We offer three different reseller programs: OEM Reseller, Service Providers, VAR Program.
OEM Reseller
The OEM licensing program is for those who wish to re-brand Message Sniffer and/or integrate the Message Sniffer engine into their own products. Examples might include Anti-Spam appliances or MTA software which use the Message Sniffer engine to provide enhanced filtering.
If you intend to re-brand Message Sniffer and integrate it into your own software and/or hardware products then the OEM program is for you.
Participants in the OEM program receive a significant discount on rulebse licensing as well as a private source code license and direct access to our online rulebase management system. Under the OEM program your customers remain yours exclusively and we provide direct support to you.
OEMs with sufficiently large deployments may also receive volume discounts and dedicated services.

Service Providers
In most cases, service providers, such as ISPs and filtering services, will use or standard licensing. In these cases, the provider is our customer and they use Message Sniffer to provide enhanced services to their customers.
If you are not installing servers with Message Sniffer on-site with your customers, then you should fall under our standard licensing program--one license per MTA. You can purchase directly from our Purchase page.
Large installations with special needs should contact us at sales@armresearch.com to discuss custom licensing, pricing, and support packages.
VAR Program
Our VAR program is intended for consultants or service providers who install and configure Message Sniffer on MTAs for their customers. For example, many of our VARs provide an integrated package of hardware and/or software which includes an Email server and assorted anti-virus and anti-spam software including Message Sniffer.
Declude, for example, offers Message Sniffer from their web site as an optional component of their Anti-Spam software.
If you intend to offer Message Sniffer to your customers as an optional add-on, as part of a bundled package, or as part of your consulting work then our VAR program is for you.
By participating in our VAR program you receive a discount on rulebase licenses and preferred renewal support. Under the VAR program we will work with you to provide support for your customers who use Message Sniffer. Customers may still come to us directly for support of their Message Sniffer component(s) but renewal notices will go to the VAR.
