SNFServer

Configuration

The SNFMulti engine at the core of the SNFServer, MDaemon plugin, and other SNF based products is configured using three files:

identity.xml - Specifies the SNF license ID and authentication string.

GBUdbIgnoreList.txt - Specifies IP sources which should always be ignored as part of the system's infrastructure.

snf_engine.xml - Also named snfmdplugin.xml for the MDaemon plugin. This file in it's various forms provides the bulk of the configuration options for the SNFMulti engine.

Automated Updates - SNF version 3 and above contains a number of features to assist in automating rulebase updates.
