If SNF could not reliably find its working directories then it would exit as soon as it tried to start.

Second, check your cases. On *nix platforms, paths are case sensitive. While on the Windows platform, paths are generally case insensitive - but we have had a few incidents on Windows platforms that have turned out to be case sensitivity issues.
